The outstanding successes of the Polaris, Poseidon, and Trident programs were made possible by your superior technical and managerial expertise and your unwavering devotion to duty. These programs have helped to form the foundation of our nation’s strategic defense, making our submarine-launched ballistic missile force the finest in the world.
As members of the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program, you can take great pride in your many contributions toward peace and the deterrence of nuclear war, and I salute you for all that you do to help protect our great country.
